Ideally located between Avignon and Aix en Provence, Lourmarin is nestled among vineyards and olive groves. the heated pool with its fully equipped summer kitchen will seduce you. Housing: the house has just been completely renovated to the highest standards with a subtle mix of stone and exposed beams. This house offers 4 bedrooms including a master suite, 3 bathrooms a very large modern fully equipped kitchen a dining room with table for 12 people, and a large living room
This is not just a rental house, we live there all year round which means a lot to us because we want you to feel at home and comfortable. Ideal to relax and enjoy the pool, play 'petanque' at home. You can visit local villages, each with their quaint weekly market (do not miss the farmer's market in Lourmarin on Friday morning!) You will have everything you need to spend an unforgettable week in Provence. The surrounding villages are wonderful including cafes and restaurants brimming over the cobbled streets, Lourmarin is the place for you.
Cadenet is well situated for visiting Provence. It is in the heart of the Luberon, with Aix-en-Provence about 30 minutes south and Avignon 45 minutes west. Some beautiful neighboring villages along the southern edge of the Luberon are Vaugines, Ansouis, Cucuron, Cabrières d'Acute and La Motte-d'Aigues. Also very close, on the northern edge of the Luberon, are Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes and Oppède. The city of Apt is only 20 minutes away. The road north to Bonnieux passes through the beautiful valley, narrow river called "Combe de Lourmarin. The Luberon offers an abundance of natural wonders .....

Summary: The property is very clean and well kept. However, the pool which is featured as the main picture, is very small (read carefully the description) and it does not get enough sun, it is located behind a very tall wall. It is heated, but not enough given the lack of sun. We asked, but without effect. The main floor and the pool are carved somehow below the main floor of neighboring houses, and obviously has no views. The property is located at the outskirts of Cadenet, it takes 10-15min to get to center (boulangerie+pharmacy mainly) on the main busy street. The check out is very early, at 10.00am, but you need to be ready and out by 9.30am as the owners will come check all the listed items, along with the cleaning crew exactly at 9.30 am.
