Summary: We recently stayed at The Travelers Palm and were very impressed with several aspects of our visit. The property is beautifully maintained, with clean, well-manicured grounds and a smooth, easy check-in process. The suite was comfortable and located in a prime area, close enough to Duval Street for convenience, yet far enough removed to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were outstanding, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful in providing everything we needed for our stay. That said, while we genuinely appreciated the experience, we likely would not choose to stay here again. The suite we occupied was connected to an adjacent studio via an interior door, which unfortunately offered very little sound insulation. Although our neighbors were not loud, we could clearly hear every conversation, cough, and sneeze, and assumed they could hear us as well. This lack of privacy was a concern. Additionally, the WiFi was extremely unreliable, and we experienced little to no cell reception throughout our stay. While we understand connectivity can be a challenge in parts of Key West, this was by far the weakest signal we’ve encountered in our many visits. We reached out to the host about the issue and were informed that IT support would look into it in a few days, but unfortunately, the problem remained unresolved during our stay. As someone who relies on internet access for simple tasks like checking the weather or booking local excursions, this was a significant inconvenience.
