Take it easy at this little getaway in Duffy. At an affordable nightly rate, this self contained studio has everything you need to accommodate your stay - Queen bed, couch, TV & Chromecast, wi-fi, and modern ensuite. It is basic but convenient and priced to suit!
Situated on the back of a tenanted property, there is off-street and free street parking available. The studio itself is detached from the main house, so privacy is afforded.
The studio has fridge/freezer, air fryer, electric wok, toaster, kettle, microwave.
The TV is Sony and has a Chromecast so you can cast shows from your phone. There is Wi-Fi as well.
Linen and towels are provided.
There is also heating/cooling unit.
Guests have exclusive use of the studio.
The back lawn is shared with the tenants of the main house.
We don't live too far away so are available if needed. Otherwise, we are readily accessible through the Airbnb messaging app.
Duffy is a relaxed suburban neighbourhood. Within a short drive you can reach Mount Stromlo bike park & leisure centre, Cooleman Court shopping centre in Weston and the Cotter Road that takes you out towards Tidbindilla/Casuarina Sands/Corin Forest. Other centres are also a quick drive away - Woden Westfield, Southpoint Tuggeranong and Canberra city centre.
The best way to get around Canberra is by car, bus or Uber. Canberra doesn't have much traffic usually, so you can easily drive around the different sights and places of interest.
If you are bringing your bike, there are plenty of bike paths across the city - Canberrans love to cycle!
What we love about this Airbnb is that is has all you need for a comfy stay in Canberra at an affordable rate. We look forward to hosting you :-)
Please note that, as a studio, there is no kitchen (including no kitchen sink). We provide plug-in appliances if you wish to make/reheat food or prepare basic meals. The only taps accessible are that in the bathroom as well as an external cold tap.
- There will be a Refundable Security Deposit held ($300). This isn't a double charge, but a security hold. The hold will take place at the time of booking but will appear on your transactions two days before checkout. It is released two days after checkout.

Summary: THe unit is neat and tidy . However expect a granny flat in the back of a very unkept back yard . Electrical switch not working and potentialy dangerous . Tv does not work ,very limited stations . Netflix controler has no bateries . Any dish cleaning must be done in bathroom sink . Poor comunications ,and or confused comunications between the two owner /mangers . Make sure you confirm everything . Its proibably the cheapest in Canberra ,so you get what yoiu pay form . A comfortable and safe place to stay .
