Summary: This was a good stay. I had to take a star away for the smell of the air conditioning and the level of insect activity. Both a/c units (the bedroom and the living room) had a urine odor that my google search indicates can come from a bacterial build-up when the units have drainage issues. The musty smell did abate when we left the doors open- but as we were supposed to close and lock the doors when we left or went to sleep, there wasn't really enough time to air out the smell. The bugs weren't a surprise, as the instructions clearly indicated that we should remove garbage every day and never leave food out on the counters- but the very first thing that happened was I opened the "house rules" book on the kitchen counter, and a tiny roach crawled out. There was definitely no food there yet. It did convince us to take the rules seriously, but was not exactly thrilling. Some good points: the furniture is comfortable! The bed was great, the couch was nice, the big chair was surprisingly comfy, and the dining table was a good size. The patio furniture was decent. I would have liked SOME kind of seating in the bedroom lanai, but the main lanai is private enough that I didn't miss it too much. The condo is located conveniently to both pools, and the grounds are lovely. Overall, I don't know that I would choose this unit again, but I wouldn't rule it out.
