Welcome to our Mountain Modern condo at the base of Fernie Alpine Resort ski hill. The condo recently underwent extensive renovation at the hands of one of the premier builders in the Elk River Valley. Extensive use of Alder wood and Slate tiling provides an ambiance that is elegant, yet warm, modern, calm and comfortable. You will be astounded by the view of the ski hill and surrounding mountains from your living area and bedrooms. Doorstep shuttle service takes you everywhere you need to go. This unit will definitely help make your time in Fernie a memorable experience.
Security or Damage Deposit: A refundable security/damage deposit of 500.00 CAD is collected by VRBO at the time of booking, when warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 14 days of departure.
Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees: Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies.
NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.
Cleaning on Departure: A fee of 275.00 CAD is charged for Cleaning on Departure, this fee is collected at the time of booking and will be included in the total payment.

Snow Skiing and Boarding: Ski/Board Out is a 5 minute walk from the property, during the ski season, a regular shuttle bus is available for a small fee to take you from your door to the ski lifts. Transit time is less than 5 minutes. At lunch or at the end of your day, you can ski/board directly back to the building.
Internet Service and Fee: Internet is included in the rent

Summary: Our family of four (2 adults, 2 older teens) had a wonderful stay in Bob’s condo. The unit was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. I wouldn’t consider it to be ski in (at least based on the trail we found) as we still needed to take our skis off to cross the road. It was also too far to walk to the base area carrying ski gear so not really ski out either. There was a shuttle that went back and forth to town but the info we found online indicated it did not pick up near our unit for transportation to the ski hill. Ultimately we found it more convenient just to drive back and forth to the hill every day but given we were mostly skiing mid week parking wasn’t an issue even though we were there over spring break. Bob was very responsive to questions prior to our stay and was very accommodating when I had questions about the rental contract. Would absolutely stay here again - would just plan to pack a lunch for the hill instead of coming back to the unit mid day.
