Positive: Very cosy bed; Exceptional welcome basket; Proximity to Upton on Severn. Cabin stayed quite warm though there is a wood burner if needed Shower and loo shed were good and clean, though no hot water in basin, though remote from site,
Negative: Mostly as described , this is a 'getaway from it all' , though close to 2 main roads, so some road noise. Getaway? : No immediate facilities - shower and loo across a field (advised built in loo for night-time emergences only) ; No wifi, no mains, suggest you bring bottled water for drinking, though host also supplies. No fridge, though I believe host can provide cool box ?? Value for money ? Price point to me seemed set at a premium given limited availability of accommodation at Upton. Elsewhere, I'd expect price to reflect more the given facilities, so significantly cheaper.
Summary: Comfortable weekend stay; some issues, but generally acceptable.
