Positive: Amazing and unique venue, and close (by car) to many of the most beautiful and breathtaking sites in the Austrian Alps. The hosts were exemplary: friendly, welcoming and helpful. The office which ran the castle were great too, and extremely helpful.
Negative: The apartment could have been better equipped and set up. It felt quite basic. You had to bring absolutely everything for cooking (including things like dishcloths, salt and pepper, bin liners), and kitchen equipment was pretty minimal. The main room could have been set out a little better given the space there was, making it somewhat hard to relax together in the evening.
