You'll have easy access to all the amenities of the city, while still being surrounded by the tranquility of the wilderness. The Kenai River is known for its world-class fishing, and you'll be just a short distance away from some of the best fishing spots in Alaska.

NESTLED IN THE WOODS & JUST STEPS FROM THE KENAI RIVER! The cabin features a cozy living room, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the beautiful outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, and the dining area seats four. The loft area is furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed, while the bedroom on the main floor has a cozy queen bed. The cabin also includes 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Enjoy endless outdoor amenities including a firepit, picnic table, covered BBQ space and public Kenai River access down the road. Property has 4 cabins total that share outdoor amenities. YOUR KENAI VACAY AWAITS! Please be aware the loft access stairs are very steep and may not be suitable for children or elderly guests.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the A-frame cabin. The place was just big enough for three adults and a baby and a good central location so we could cook a lot of our meals at "home" (there was enough cookware, although no olive oil, spices, etc.). It was nice to have laundry on site, even though it was outside and shared with other units (we had to sometimes wait for the units to be free), but the best part was the fish processing station with the vacuum sealer provided. We all loved being walking distance from the river and caught a few sockeye salmon each. The cabin was a nice central location in the Kenai Peninsula, so we could day trip to Seward to Homer, which was convenient. The only issues with the home itself was: (1) check-in was not great (the instructions we received to unlock the door were incorrect so we stood in the rain trying to figure it out ourselves) (2) I would have liked more washcloths (we only got 2 per bathroom, which is not enough for a 6-day stay) and (3) bath soap wasn't provided. Overall, great stay!
