Summary: I originally booked this condo to visit my son the first weekend in October. Hurricane Helene had other plans. Since this unit is booked through Vacasa, they gave me the option of rebooking at a later date so our actual trip was the last weekend of October. The actual condo was very nicely decorated and very clean. The electric fireplace was nice and having a balcony was wonderful. The photos showed the building and focused on the top floor so I thought that's where we were. Wrong, the condo is on the bottom level. My elderly mother who has bad knees and walks with a cane had to maneuver 2 steep flights of stairs. I felt awful. Next, along with the noise decibel monitors that are mentioned in the listing, the unit does not have a window covering for the door. The entire space can be see through that window. We didn't like that however, we didn't harp on that fact either until the 2nd day we were there and realized there is a camera on the pole opposite the door and it is tilted and pointing right at the door. I would like to think that this camera could not actually see inside the condo and was just pointed at the bottom of the door HOWEVER it was so creepy not knowing if we were being watched since, once again, the door window does not have any curtains to ensure privacy. We were 2 middle aged women and an elderly grandma sitting around feeling like big brother was all around us. It did not make for a relaxing evening. I would suggest curtains/blinds.
