Summary: Good news: Beautifully historic location with gorgeous architecture and provenance. Good location locally. Lovely spacious room, very comfortable and classic in design. Watchouts: No USB sockets, bring a plug. Issues with dinner service - 1 hour wait after ordering and only 8 guests in the restaurant, food good though Hotels Reward Tiers ignored (free wine for us not acknowledged by the hotel although later removed from our dinner bill). Gardens are very basic in maintenance that might bother some. Loungers limited in numbers around the unheated pool. Bathroom a little dated but not tired just old plumbing. Would revisit though.
