Positive: The house was the perfect size for myself and my kids. We loved the game room, hot tub, location, and air conditioning because it was HOT while were were there. My older two were competing in a dance competition at the Kalahari Convention Center, and we wanted to stay somewhere close. This house was 10 minutes away. We saw SO many deer, and we loved being able to prepare our own food and not rely on restaurants and fast food. Beds were comfy, house and neighborhood was quiet. My youngest loved the screened-in porch. He spent a lot of time out there. Flow of house was great and it perfectly suited our needs.
Negative: The hot tub had an issue the last night which was a bummer because my kids LOVED it the night before. The property owner was very responsive and asked someone to come by and check it out, but they never made it that day. As a courtesy, she offered us a late check-out, which actually worked out great. Maybe adding some mixing and storage bowls and other items to the kitchen supplies would be helpful. I like to cook and I was not cooking anything fancy, but that would have helped. I would also recommend new pillows. Also, a new sign near the road with the house number. I was forever missing it!!
Summary: Great Cabin in the Woods! We would DEFINITELY stay again!
