The "Pineapple Guest Home" will exceed your expectations for an impeccable vacation stay. Enjoy a taste of "TRUE" Florida living in this GATED GETAWAY. Situated on 9 acres of my family's homestead land from the late 1800's. 8 of the original pecan trees still reside- which were planted for my grandmother and her 7 sisters. If you're here in November, feel free to gather some pecans
(Every other year, they produce). We have plenty of space for parking and beautiful sunsets too, all while being in a safe gated hideaway.Yes, this makes me a Florida native, and I'd be thrilled to help with any of your vacation plans! You'd be staying in our guest house, so my husband or I can quickly help with any of your concerns. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rainbow Springs State Park, 30 minutes to Crystal River, and a 20 minute drive to Williston. Williston has some great diving sites- I hear? Devil's Den and Blue Grotto, but me personally, I have to mention the Ivy House in Williston-Fried Green Tomatoes, home-made milk cake- served up in a historic home with shopping on the top floor, GREAT TREAT!! Grumble's House Antiques and Garden Shop in Dunnellon is another fun place to explore! I had the opportunity to stay in this house/residence in the late 80's almost every weekend as a teenager. Summary: This was our second time staying at the lovely Pineapple Guest House and we enjoyed every minute. It is such a unique property and offers privacy and a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts are very attentive and thoughtful and communication is always prompt. The house is clean and very well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and most enjoyable stay. If you appreciate a more rural setting away from the hustle and bustle of the typical Florida rentals, then this is the place for you.
