The space
The Peninsula, Long Point has a no pets, no children under 12 policy, and is strictly non-smoking.
Our spacious, newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment mixes coastal chic with New York loft-style living. Two well appointed bedrooms will sleep 4 people comfortably. The main features a king size bed. The second features a queen size bed. A desk and mini office in the second bedroom accommodates a great work from home vibe.
A designer bathroom services both bedrooms and features a large free standing bathtub for you to really unwind. Sit back and listen to some relaxing tunes, or simply the sound of the waves crashing from nearby Middle Beach. The bathroom also features a generous sized shower and a washing machine.
The open plan living area features a lounge room, dining and kitchen that bring together a seamless entertainment space. Settle in on the comfy lounge and watch a movie. Enjoy a meal around the dining table that seats 6-8 people, or enjoy cooking a meal in the designer kitchen as you look across the caesar stone bench tops to Merimbula Bay. With it’s 25 ft ceiling, the vast kitchen has been appointed with Bosch appliances and a double door fridge freezer with chilled water and an ice maker. Bringing the outside in, twin sliding doors open up to the balcony to truly make the ocean feel like it’s within arm’s reach. Cook, relax, entertain and enjoy, in this wonderful living space.
Situated on the penultimate street on Merimbula’s Long Point, our apartment is within walking distance to some of the area’s treasures. Take a leisurely 5 minute stroll down to Bar Beach for your morning coffee and return for an evening sunset swim and catch the rip in the bar - not sure what this is? You’ll soon find out. If you want a more active surf, Middle Beach is a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction - take your surfboard and catch some waves. If you prefer to stay on land, take a walk up to Short Point, or venture out on the bush trail to the very end of Long Point. Early birds will catch the sun rise over the ocean from here.
Merimbula town is a 5 minute drive away and here you will find some great cafes, restaurants and bars. Our favourites are Bar Monti, Metro and Bar Suprette for dinner - be sure to book! Coffee is great at Mitchy’s Jetty, Short point beach caravan or Fleetwood.
Our apartment is equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, off street parking for one car, satellite high speed wifi and linen for bed and bath. Bring your own beach towels!
