Positive: We were warmly welcomed by our host, Rosemary, who was both friendly and informative. The quaint cottage has just two rooms, and ours came with an ensuite featuring a great shower. A large modern TV at the foot of the bed allowed us to stream movies seamlessly, without any buffering. Just a short stroll away, we enjoyed a delicious meal at a charming old pub. Inverness itself is only about a 15-minute walk, taking you over the River Ness via a picturesque footbridge.
Negative: The room was on the top floor and quite cosy, with a couple of areas of lower headroom that may not suit taller guests. However, it was thoughtfully designed, complete with a fridge, and Rosemary had even managed to include a small table with two chairs, perfect for enjoying a light meal together.
