Positive: We had a wonderful few days in Matera with our family. The property is newly refurbished to a very high standard and felt both elegant and comfortable throughout our stay. The spaces are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and very well designed. The lift was a real bonus and made the stay especially easy and comfortable for the older members of our family. Breakfast was very good, both in quality and variety. The staff truly made the difference: Roberta was fantastic at breakfast, and Paolo and Brunella at reception were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind.
