Summary: This was our 9th year coming to Key West. This is an annual trip the same time of year. We are in Key West mostly for one thing. Fishing for tarpon, permit and bone fish. The occasional lunch or dinner fish is always welcome. We have been staying at this condo building for the past 7 years and find the location perfect for us. We have been able to stay in this unit twice now. It has everything we need or want for our trip.Two bedrooms and two bathrooms works perfectly for our stay. The unit is very well kept and the furnishing are great. The beds are comfortable which is very nice. I’ve had a few times this isn’t the case.The kitchen has mostly what you need but could use some better pans for cooking. I understand you cannot furnish top notch pots and pans but the unit could use some updated pieces.The coffee pot is a standard drip unit and it works perfect for us. We just need good coffee in the early morning before our fishing day starts.The utensils are adequate but we did pick up a new spatula for the kitchen. We truly appreciate the washer and dryer. It allows us to bring minimal clothing for our trip. We basically wash everyday after our day on the water fishing.Saves us a lot on packing. We love that this unit has the balcony facing the east so there is total shade in the afternoon. Trust me, having a balcony facing the west in the afternoon is way too hot. Overall we love staying at 1800 Atlantic and this unit is one of the nicest we have stayed in.
