Seaside Sunrise is a newly renovated waterfront cottage that is calling your name. Sit comfortably on its seaside deck and watch the sunrise while holding a hot cup of coffee, or simply relax, sip on a cocktail and enjoy the sounds of the ocean any time of the day. This cottage is just a five-minute walk to the Stover's Point Nature Preserve, a public beach that is one of Harpswell's hidden gems. The main level includes an open living area with unobstructed views of Harpswell Sound and the famous Cribstone Bridge that connects Orr's and Bailey Islands. The ocean-facing dining area seats six comfortably and is the perfect place to enjoy homecooked meals or play games with the family. The well-equipped kitchen includes new appliances and freshly painted cabinets. Watch the boats go by as you relax in the living room or curl up with a good book in the welcoming reading area. The main level also includes a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom with stand up shower. Upstairs you will find a little sitting area perfect for some quiet reading time. The primary bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bed and a private balcony overlooking the water. The third bedroom has two twin beds perfect for the kiddos and also faces the ocean.
Walk down to the water in front of the house and search for sea creatures. Spend your day kayaking, fishing, collecting sea glass, taking long walks, or enjoying lobster dinners. Summary: We had a very good time here. It was clean with a great view. It was a little far away from everything and maybe that would be a good thing for some people. We just drove to the bigger town a lot. It was a great place to be.
