Positive: This is a place with a soul. In the evening, you can light candles and sit on the terrace, contemplating the starry sky over the mountains of Sintra. In the morning you can drink coffee or tea. It is so quiet that you can hear the crowing of the organic farm next door, where there is a small grocery store. We were without a car, so we happily used the buses (the stop is a few meters away). Bus 1254 runs here from Portela de Sintra station. It also takes you to the beaches of Sintra and the town of Azenhas do Mar. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the beds have wonderful mattresses, pillows, and linen. The bathroom has a shower with gel and shampoo. There is a hairdryer. There are electric dryers and a heater in the room. There is a window with a safety net built into the door. Also, you have a refrigerator in the apartment. The hostess Helena is a very nice young woman who is happy to help her guests. We asked her the quickest way to get to Montserrat Park, and she offered to give us a ride. We are very grateful to Helena and will definitely come back to this place to visit Sintra once more.
