MT. BAKER LOCATION
Canyon Creek Chalet is tucked away in the woods of Glacier, in a safe and quiet neighborhood community only 30min to Artist Point and Mt. Baker Ski Area.
Our location can’t be beat, as we are at the gateway to Mt. Baker, Snoqualmie National Forest and North Cascades National Park. We are also near where Canyon Creek meets the mighty Nooksack River – meaning salmon fishing, river rafting and natural pools are minutes away. Neighborhood tip: you’ll find more pools and hiking trails at the stretch of the Nooksack that flows by our house.
WOODLAND YARD
The land around our cabin feels like a magical forest, one where Douglas fir and cedar trees soar over 100 feet up to the sky. There are many ways to relax among these gentle giants: sip craft beers after a hike, doze off in our hammock or gather around the picnic table for a cookout among sun-dappled light.
You can also marvel as sunsets move through the trees and give way to constellations of wild stars. Turn on the string lights, light the fire pit, and kick back on our tree stump benches as you tell stories into the night.
LIVING ROOM
Inside, the living room continues the cozy ambience of our yard. Dimmable recessed lights let you set the mood while our plush sectional sofa reclines for extra comfort. A small gas stove (thermostat controlled) adds a dash of old-world charm and our smart TV awaits your favorite shows and movies. We also have a Bluetooth sound system so you can stream music and podcasts from your phone or tablet.
KITCHEN
Just off the living room, our kitchen is snug – but mighty! Natural light filters in through picture windows while wood cabinetry and butcher block counters make you feel at home. You’ll find all the cookware and dishware you’ll need, plus nice extras including spices, a griddle, waffle maker, wok burner with wok, and an instant hot water dispenser.
Wake up with our coffee & tea bar which pulls out all the stops: we have a Keurig, French press, coffee maker, coffee grinds, K-Cup pods, creamer, sugar and tea bags. You’ll also love our eat-in island table for six.

Two bedrooms on the second floor give off subtle treehouse vibes, as skylights in each room look up to the alpine trees and glowing moon above. Our master bedroom is loaded with amenities including a cozy fireplace, bathroom with real plants, and a private balcony for morning coffee and evening wine.

The Springs is between the towns of Glacier and Maple Falls. The gateway to Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie Nat’l Forrest and the northern portion of the Cascade National Park. From the cabin it’s a short drive to many popular trailheads, river spots and the famous Mt. Baker Ski Area/Artist Point. The neighborhood provides many outdoor activities right outside the door. The confluence of Canyon creek and the Nooksack river are approximately 30min round trip on foot from our cabin.
If you want to drive to access even more hiking and amazing scenery, It is only a 30min drive to Mt.Baker Ski Area/ Artist Point. A 35 min drive to Hannagen Pass Trail and the Heliotrope trail both get you access to some of the most secluded hiking in the North Cascades National Park.
