Single-storey house of Basco-Landaise type, completely renovated in 2016 and located 150 meters from the market, is located in the heart of Cap Ferret.
This charming house of around 150 m², with its wooden terrace of 75 m² facing due south (sun all day), welcomes you 600 m from the ocean dune and 200 m from the Bassin, all on a plot of 900 m².
A situation close to the market (less than 150 meters) and the landing stage (possibility of arriving by train to Arcachon and taking the boat).
6 bedrooms, including a master bedroom with its beautiful shower room, plenty of storage in each bedroom.

- Bedroom 3: 2 single beds (bunk beds) + shared shower room with bedroom 4

Large living room of 50 m2 with 1 5-seater sofa, 2 large armchairs, coffee table, a solid wood table of 2.80 meters indoors, another of 3.00 meters outdoors and a shade sail to protect you from the sun!
Equipped and fitted kitchen open to the living room and the outdoor terrace.
An outdoor shower for the beach returns, and a hammock for the nap.
The calm and proximity to everything.
The Garden is fenced: security for young children.
Triple exposure East / South / West = Sun for all meals!
We will welcome you as much as possible and will be there when you leave. Of course we remain at your disposal throughout your stay.
Possibility of arriving by train at Arcachon station and taking the boat shuttle to Ferret. Bordeaux Mérignac Airport 50 minutes' drive, Saint-Jean Station 1 hour.
Possibility of having household linen.
Biweekly rental in high season and weekly or long WE in off season.
PS1: The exit cleaning fee of 150 € must be paid on your arrival.

Summary: We had a good stay. The house was accurately presented on the VRBO site. Spacious with 6 bedrooms which suited a family group of 3 generations. We chose it for the good location, a couple of minutes walk to the bassin beach and the market. Although on a corner of two roads, it was not noisy. Furnishings not fancy but comfortable. We ate outside on the terrace under the shade sail for most meals. Kitchen was functional with most appliances needed (no microwave, but not a problem for us). Price was appropriate for the size, location, quality and season (soon after high season ended). Jean-Jacques manages this property for the owner Jerome and was helpful; he put up the shade sail for us.
