This spacious family style home is the ultimate vacation home. Guests are welcome to use all mineral pools and spas and all the resort amenities. You are welcome to view our other 5 star homes at Sky Valley under my profile for guest experience reviews.
RESORT:
Caliente Springs Resort is the desert's best kept secret. A 55 and older vacation paradise. Natural mineral swimming pools in addition to hiking trails, tennis and golf. Relax and stay active in this peaceful vacation destination.
HOUSE:
This is the premiere home at Caliente Springs Resort with two bedrooms each with queen size beds and two full bathrooms.
The home opens to a beautiful living room with wall to wall windows with views of the pools. The living room goes into the sunroom with comfortable couches for curling up with a book or playing games. This room also has a desk area work space. The kitchen is spacious with dishwasher and is fully equipped with every cooking necessity.
The best part about this house is the outdoor space! Patio dining that overlooks the lakes with palm tree views plus two lounging areas to enjoy.
The home is fully stocked with books, games, puzzles, tennis, pickleball and pool toys so you can fully enjoy your vacation in the desert without ever leaving the resort.

Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized before and after each guest group to ensure you have a safe experience.
INTERNET + CELL SERVICE:
AT&T gets super spotty service here. Our internet is strong so you can use your phone on wifi if you need to. Verizon/Sprint work great!

Resort is completely walkable. Home has two shaded driveway parking spaces.
Sky Valley Resort is a remote desert retreat 30 minutes from Palm Springs and 1 hour from Joshua Tree.
Guests can access any restaurants, shopping and stores with a 30 minute drive to the surrounding cities. Instacart delivers to the home from Vons.
Limit to one dog with additional pet fee of $50. Must be potty trained and well trained. Guest must disclose the pet in the booking request and pay pet fee or the reservation will be cancelled.

Summary: Pricey compared to others. Resort is very nice. Great pools and amenities. Our concerns. Located at a very busy corner, didn’t really concern us but I could see it might others. The bedroom lay out is just wrong. No room around the bed at all. The other issue was the floor is brown laminate. Spilt water on the floor on day 2. Wiped it up with a paper towel, the towel was black. Floor had been swept, not washed. No mop or bucket to do so, had to improvise. Cleaning staff should wash not just sweep the floor. Otherwise very nice resort, would not hesitate to return. Spare set of sheets wouldn’t hurt.
