‘Powder House’ is a luxury ski-in/ski-out home with a hot tub nestled in a breathtaking landscape, just yards away from ski lift access to the mountain slopes of Powder Mountain Ski Resort. It is a brand new build with amazing views, all the comforts of home and more. Bring the family and make some memories! This home is perfectly put together and ready to make your vacation unforgettable!
The floorplan has multiple, spacious gathering areas to have a fun cocktail hour or chat about the adventures of the day. The dining area is the perfect place to hold a family dinner and watch the night skiers shred at Sundown lift in the winter. The up-to-date kitchen features a 9ft island with gorgeous quartz countertops and tons of seating. Amenities include a large double convection oven and stove, an oversized refrigerator/freezer and pantry space. There is a Sonos stereo sound system installed throughout the home and private hot tub area so you can listen to you favorite tunes from anywhere on the main level. To make this home more complete it has large windows and bi-fold glass doors showcasing the amazing beauty of the mountains. The views are elevated so you have the ability to look straight down the canyon to Ogden Valley. This is what you gain for driving 5-miles up the inclined road. This property also has a private hot tub to watch night skiing or star gaze after an incredible day on the slopes.
The primary bedroom is spectacular in its own right. A king bed fills the room facing a large TV with streaming services and electric fireplace to set the mood or warm you up. You have a private balcony with large sliding glass doors and a breathtaking view to wake up to. After moving past the walk in closet you are met with two separate vanities for independent space. The one of a kind bathroom features an oversized steam rain shower and large soaking tub that is just what you need to relax after a long day on the slopes or biking trails.
All other guest beds include a large TV with YouTube streaming services as well as en-suite full bathrooms designed with the same luxurious quartz vanities, copious amounts of storage, and top notch finishes. All bathrooms are stocked with basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and makeup towels.
The 3-car garage features a mounted boot/glove dryer, and hooks for up to 12 sets of skis or snowboards. The house and game room is stocked with a highchair, Pack N Play, children's books, and games so even little ones can enjoy a stay at 'Powder House'.
‘Powder House’ is located on a private street close to the main road connecting the Sundown lift parking lot to the Timberline Lodge parking lot. The road is paved to the garage (unique in this subdivision because some locations have to snowmobile to cabins) for easy access. The driveway itself is heated. Snowplow service on Highway 158 is from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. so late-night check-ins are not advised!
A 4-wheel drive vehicle is mandatory for this ski area.
From Wolf Creek in Eden to Powder Mountain, it’s a 5-mile climb to the ski area. Going up is easy but coming down it’s best to put the 4-wheel drive in a low gear to control speed. Depending on snow levels, guests can strap on their skis and maneuver to the Sundown Lift to access Lighting Ridge cat skiing (need a pass beforehand). Lighting Ridge then leads to Paradise Lift in the middle of the ski area. At the end of the day there is an access trail that leads back to the home's private road.
Powder Mountain has a variety of skiing opportunities from cat skiing to night skiing with the convenience of on-mountain ski and snowboarding rentals. Restaurants at the Timberline Lodge include the popular Powder Keg that offers live music most nights, draft beer and bar food such as chicken wings, burgers and kale salads. Upstairs at the Timberline Lodge is a cafeteria that is perfect for families, serving Lucky Slice pizza, breakfast burritos, burgers and other comfort food. At the top at Hidden Lake the menu is more Mexican Cantina style with delicious street tacos and taco salads.

We recommend that guests plan to purchase groceries on the first day of arrival for the duration of the reservation or arrange for grocery service. The Valley Market in Eden, Utah is the closest grocery store, and the Utah State Liquor Store (Outpost Spirits) is located in the Wolf Creek Arbor Lodge at the bottom of the road in the Ogden Valley. Grocery service is available through Champagne Powder Tours & Concierge. This includes liquor store deliveries too. Remember in Utah that Liquor Stores are separate from grocery stores and closed on Sundays. Better to plan ahead, stock the property and leave the days open to enjoy your vacation.
Powder Mountain is one of the most remote ski areas on the Wasatch Range and is known for its “All Natural” legendary, light powder snow. Many believe it's the best in North America. Summary: Wonderful new property that's very comfortable and comes with all the amenities and more, especially a working hot tub! Property management is of the highest quality around and responds quickly to meet all your needs. Great scenery from the house and plenty of snow! Its close enough to walk to the slopes or more adventurous skiers can ski in from the Sundown slopes. Can't wait to return and work with Champagne Powder Mgmt again!
