Positive: The house was bigger than we expected, light and airy with a terrace off the bedroom, tastefully renovated, and well equipped for cooking. It's just a few minutes' walk from the centre of town, in a short, quiet residential street, so it was very peaceful.
Negative: We were sorry to have no communication with the host, but I'm sure if we'd had any problems they would have been available. It would have been very useful to have instructions for household appliances -- it took us a while to work out how to operate the unintuitive induction hob (which worked really well once we'd figured it out by trial and error). Note: there's a spiral staircase between bedroom and bathroom, which could be an issue for some people -- we were very careful!
