What news you have read or heard - There are Legal Short Term Rentals in Hawaii.We are on the short list on the North Shore at Turtle Bay.
This a Family Owned and managed Home. It's is hard to get a more perfect view of the golf course from the lanai of this two bedroom townhome located on the West side of Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay.
The Master bedrooms is a large bedroom complete with it's own bathroom.
This upgraded and remodeled unit features all amenities including a king bed in the master bedroom with A/C, wireless internet, flat screen TV with Blue Ray, A/C in Livingroom.
The updated kitchen with beautiful cherry wood cabinets has just about everything you need to cook and enjoy meals in the unit or on the newly screened in lanai.
The oversize loft features two queen beds with a newly remodeled bathroom and shower.
The west side of Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay which has three swimming pools for your convenience. BBQ'ing is available at the pools and there are tennis courts for your enjoyment should you decide to bring rackets along.
You may walk through the grounds of the condo complex or along the main road to access the beach which is under a 10 minute pleasant walk away. Once there you can sun on the beach or swim in the lagoon that is protected from waves most year round.
There are some excellent restaurant choices at the gorgeous Turtle Bay Resort and golf course, and while you may not use the hotel facilities, you are free to eat at the restaurants and use the public beach. Amazing facilities include five restaurants, horseback riding, 12 miles of walking trails, snorkeling, surfing, scuba, helicopter tours, and 5 miles of great beaches - endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. Golfers appreciate the Palmer Championship Course and the Fazio Course with its discounted rates after 4:00 pm.
World famous surf breaks at Sunset Beach, Rocky Point, Pipeline and Waimea Bay are arrayed along North Shore's scenic coastline. Step back in time to old Hawaii and enjoy the beaches, quaint shops and unique restaurants of Hale’iwa. Summary: Great location, updated, clean, and it provides all the basics needed for a fun Hawaii vacation. Unfortunately, the unit next door that shares a wall with the rental was under construction. Our experience at this rental was the opposite of a "relaxing vacation on Oahu". Between 830am and 5pm, there was construction happening almost every day. On some of the days, there was construction on the framework of the wall that separates the units. The wall was shaking and there was continuous drilling/sawing so loud that my wife and I couldn't hear each other talking. I wish I could post a video showcasing how ridiculous it was. The property manager tried to work with us and refunded the cost of one day. He communicated that the construction has been ongoing for about a year. He was very polite on the phone, but didn't really respond to text messages or VRBO messages. We decided to adapt and not let it ruin our vacation. We left the condo between 9am and 5pm every day. We basically used the condo as a place to sleep. As the construction crew arrived around 8 or 830, we made preparations to leave as the loud noises began. The construction was not disclosed in the description. We appreciate the refund for one day, but we would have never spent 3000 to stay at a condo you can only enjoy at night. We felt misled with limited options. So be warned.On a positive note, If you can confirm there is no construction next door, we highly recommend staying here. If not, good luck.
