Positive: We liked the apartment very much. No problems there at all. When we eventually found our front door.
Negative: We arrived late at night, so surrounded grounds were very dark and with no reception open at all. There was a bar right across the reception doors..We were hours walking around all to no avail. With the exception of one kind resident who very kindly showed us to our apartment. Our host gave us information only about keys for gates, doors, etc. But nothing about directions. It was really badly signposted. I also had the misfortune to fall twice. First, it was not too bad, but the second fall was terrible. Nothing broken, but every sinew of my body is very painful. I hit my head, which has left me with a black eye and nose. I'm badly bruised other parts also. It took me a good 10 to fifteen minutes to get myself up from the ground. I am a 74 year old lady. I had just come up a step without realising an extra upper lift on the same step to the next step. I love Lanzarote because my daughter, husband, and our grandkids visit here a lot. but this dampened my spirit somewhat. More lighting and understandable signposts badly needed here. Also, fix steps please.
