Newly renovated Gilford, NH cottage, known as Beachfront Butterfly Bungalow. New listing. Romantic cottage with own private sandy beach and spectacular lake and Ossipee mountain range views, literally 12 steps from the water. Cottage includes 2 porches (one screened in). Cottage is very 1930 authentic with original wainscoting in great room, fireplace and restored hardwood floors. It has original sliding and flip-up windows with antique bubble glass. Property is fully fenced and gated. It may be small in size but breathes easily with vaulted ceilings and spacious great room. Has many outdoor relaxing spaces, including a hammock. Enjoy sitting on the porch and watch the boats from the nearby docks. It does get busy during nice days, but if you enjoy boat watching, you'll love this. 1 bedroom, queen bed with new memory foam mattress, air-conitioned. New sleep sofa and cot both have new memory foam mattresses. Kayaks and life jackets provided. Enjoy s'mores by the firepit. Perfect location, just a short walk to the Lyon's Den Restaurant/Bar. One mile to Sawyer's Dairy Bar, Patrick's Restaurant and the Bank of NH Pavilion Concert Center. Also close is Gunstock Recreation Center with zip lines, obstacle course and new mountain coaster. Funspot Arcade, Weirs Beach, Monkey Trunks zip line, Pheasant Ridge Gold Club, Tanger Outlet Mall and mini-golf are also a short drive away. No pets allowed without consent of owner. No smoking. One of the most unique features of this property is that the wind blows across the lake towards the cottage creating waves that crash on the beach every day. The site and sound is very enjoyable, almost like you're at the ocean. At sunrise, the reflection off the lake dances on the bedroom wall. Overall, this place feels like your own mini resort.
