Enjoy all the attractions of the Finger Lakes from Lake Effect! Located just four miles from downtown Canandaigua, this beautifully remodeled chalet offers modern comfort and prime, level lakefront. Situated on a dead-end quiet street with a spacious level yard for children to play, Lake Effect is ideal for guests of all ages. Parking is across the driveway by the garage, and a landscaped pathway leads up to the side door and main entry.
A small foyer leads into a stunning great room, with beautiful hardwood floors and a spectacular view of Canandaigua Lake. The modern country kitchen is open to the great room, and features custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and upscale stainless-steel appliances. There is an island with bar seating for enjoying casual meals and a matching dining table and chairs for more elaborate meals. The living room furniture faces the lake and a flat screen TV is provided for guest’s enjoyment. A moderate deck off the living room provides space for watching the lakefront activities or sharing an outdoor meal.
The rear hallway leads to a full bathroom with shower tub combo across from the stairs to the foyer. At the end of the hallway is a bedroom on the north side of the house with a double and bunk bed. The master bedroom appointed with a king-size bed and a private half bath is on the south side.
The lower level features a large, open rec room with sliding glass doors that lead to the lake. Here you will find a bumper pool table, and board games that are sure to help you create a lasting evening or rainy-day memories as you gather inside. There is also a seating area and flat screen TV with a video game console leading out to the lower level deck with an extendable motorized awning that provides excellent shade during the hot summer months.
Entering the hallway towards the rear of the lower level you will find the laundry area followed by the 2nd full bathroom with modern, full glass shower enclosure with sparkling white tile surround. Continuing to the rear, you will find two separate bedrooms each adorned with queen size beds and casual decor.
Lake Effect features a large deck and patio that lead to the lakefront. A dock is available for sunning, fishing, and short term tie up of boats for loading and unloading. A 5000# v-hull boat lift is available upon request. A secure mooring ball is suitable for overnight boat storage and/or tie-up of a water pad/mat. 2 kayaks, 1 paddleboard and a canoe are provided.
