The home boasts incredible long range mountain views, a stone fire pit, a hot tub, gourmet kitchen and a game room with attached bar. Enjoy the mountain views from the large back deck. With stunning long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and only 23 miles to Asheville and 8 miles to Black Mountain, this is the epitome of mountain vacation home living in Western North Carolina. The home features an open floor plan, a great room with vaulted ceiling and pristine long range mountain views. Catawba Falls Preserve is a gated mountain community preserve with paved roads and miles of hiking trails. The community backs up to the Pisgah National Forest and is the home of an abundance of wildlife.
La Maison is set up perfectly for multi-generational families, 2-3 different families or multiple couples to vacation together. It is also perfect for an executive company gathering or retreat. This home has six large private ensuite bedrooms with 2 on the main floor and 4 on the upper level. The main floor has 2 king ensuite bedrooms, including the primary/owner’s suite. The upper level has 2 king ensuite bedrooms and two 2 queen ensuite bedrooms. The primary/owner’s suite offers a luxurious Sleep Number i10 Smart Bed. The bathroom features his and her vanities, water closet with bidet, rain head shower, stand-alone tub. Walk through the custom closet to a quiet little office space.
The home can accommodate 12-16 guests comfortably, in beds. Each bedroom, the great room, the loft and the game room have TVs. Fast high-speed Wi-Fi will easily handle most needs including streaming movies, downloading, Zoom Meetings, etc. YouTube TV included.
Hotel style beds are all made prior to your arrival, and we provide towels and linens. The gourmet kitchen is very well appointed with most items needed to enjoy your vacation. There are some spices available. The home is equipped with the following items: Regular drip coffee maker; tea kettle; air fryer, bread toaster, blender, hand mixer, Kitchen Aid stand-up mixer, Cuisinart knife set, mixing bowls, Tupperware, cookie sheets; cutting boards, and plenty of pots and pans. Dinnerware and flatware to service up to 24 guests. The bar area offers wine, champagne, martini, and high-ball glasses. The two-island kitchen allows room for both cooking and entertainment. Enjoy a spacious laundry room with two sets of washers and dryers which is near the mudroom for your hiking shoes, spa towels and pet station. Depending on your preference, there are two grills; a charcoal grill on the back deck and a Weber gas grill in the garage.
The property is very quiet, peaceful and private with breathtaking views all around. There is an easy paved, extra-wide private circular driveway to the property. Any vehicle can make it to the property. Enter into the main level with minimal steps. The back deck offers outdoor seating and an outdoor fireplace. Enjoy the large hot tub and fire pit while you take in those incredible mountain views. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. The community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls. The elevation is around 2800 feet. The closest airport is Asheville, about 45 minutes from the property. Charlotte airport is about an hour and 45 minutes
Cleanliness is our priority. Our crew is up to date on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the house during cleanings, disinfecting all touched surfaces including counters, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc.
No large weddings, parties or events over the maximum occupancy of the home permitted. We are pet friendly. Up to 2 well behaved, house-trained dogs permitted (sorry, no cats or chewing puppies allowed) with prior approval and $195 non-refundable pet fee. Summers, holidays and October Leaf Season may have a one week minimum.
