Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: House located in the centre of a small village, with easy access to local bakeries and restaurants. Quiet location. Good shower. Kitchen was well equipped, if not super clean.

Negative: The property is advertised as having A/C, but there is only one small unit on the ground floor and the two bedrooms are on the first and second floors (up a very narrow staircase). There was only one fan in one of the rooms. The night we stayed there was the peak of a heat wave (over 40 degrees), so the only way we could sleep was to all camp out in one bedroom (2 adults and 2 children) with the window wide open and the fan blasting. There is nowhere to sleep on the ground floor, as there is only one very small couch and four kitchen chairs. There is no Wi-Fi, as advertised, but because it's an old stone building, there is also no phone reception.

Summary: OK for an overnight stay, as long as it isn't too hot.
