The holiday house is on the Saalhügel in Goldlauter-Heidersbach with a view of the gliding ground, in the midst of heavenly peace and quiet and a green meadow.
The property has one floor with two rooms and an outdoor WC and is accessed from a lawn of around 80m² and four steps (see layout on the photos). The house of around 35m² consists of a living room with a fully-equipped new kitchen corner with a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. This room also has a modern dining table for at least five people and a stereo-radio. The bedroom next to it is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe, as well as a flatscreen TV with satellite channels. A child’s bed can be set up in the bedroom. The modern bathroom of a high standard is fitted with a shower, WC and washbasin. The new outdoor WC has a washbasin, WC and washing machine. The holiday house has tiled floors throughout. Luggage and larger items can be stored in the tool shed.
Outside there is a south-facing, partially roofed terrace and there is also a garden terrace. The terraces provide garden furniture, loungers and a grill. The site is fenced. There is also an enclosed parking space.
The holiday house is on the Saalhügel in Goldlauter-Heidersbach with a view of the gliding ground and is very quiet. It is about 7km to the most well-known altitude hiking trail in Germany – the Rensteig. Goldlauter-Heidersbach is easy to get to (see geography), but is nevertheless concealed in the forest. This is why it was largely spared during wars, as it was so difficult to find. From here you can go on extended hikes at any difficulty level. You are cordially invited to explore the charming surrounding landscape of the main massif in the Thuringian Forest. For hiking enthusiasts there is the hiking brochure “Hikes around Goldlauter-Heidersbach”, which also has a lot else to offer: the ski stadium, the ski lift at Salzberg (length over 1000 metres), the gliding airfield, the swimming pool in Heidersbach, where you can also play volleyball or giant chess, extensive meadow valleys with trout ponds and many well-signposted walking paths.
If that is not enough, you can also explore, within 10km, the Rennsteig Garden by the Rondell, the high moor, the toboggan and bob sleigh track in Oberhof, the hunting weapons museum or the vehicle museum in Suhl, or the Ringberg Hotel with its fantastic view.
