This cozy holiday home with full comfort will surely meet your expectations of a great holiday in a prime location between the Baltic Sea and the largest north German fjord Schlei with sea eagles and protected nature. The location is also ideal because the Schubystrand water sports center (5 minutes by car), a large kayak rental in Arnis / Schlei and the Damp sailing harbor near Kappeln are in the immediate vicinity.
The property is ideal for a holiday with dogs because it is completely fenced. There is also a garden house and you reside in a quiet cul-de-sac. Schuby-Dörphof is the pearl on the beach of the Baltic Sea and a very relaxing place for families - with or without a dog - with a whole range of great excursion destinations.
The three bedrooms upstairs have comfortable mattresses. The largest bedroom has a sofa bed and a changing table in addition. The second bedroom has two beds one behind the other, the third has a comfortable sofa bed 140cm wide, for an adult or two children. The kitchen is excellently equipped, including a microwave. A large TV, a fireplace and a desk are provided in the living room. One bathroom has a bath, the other a shower, and both have a toilet and washbasin. The house has a Mediterranean décor with sea star, marine and shell motifs. There are many books and games in the house, as well as a highchair, drawing things etc. Dogs have lovely areas under the stairs and in the living room.
PLEASE NOTE - also in the interest of the neighbors: only dogs with good upbringing are welcome! All the windows and the gas heating are new. Bed linen can be ordered via us in exceptional cases directly before. Only from a travel time of 14 days bedlinen are included.
Our guests can use the garden hut also as a Wendy house or party hut, where you can also find cushions for the range of garden furniture, deckchairs etc. There is a range of comfortable seating in the garden area, including under the old apple tree. You can find a bicycle in the shed for fetching rolls, but a car is strictly recommended for this property. There is ample parking space right in front of the house. The lawn is generous and completely fenced. Right opposite the house there is a little path leading into the fields, where you can walk the dog. Pure relaxation. Dogs are free. There are blankets and towels for dogs.
Tourist tax is not levied on site, but you can buy tourist cards on the beach. Dog accessories are plentiful. However, please bring your own bath towels for the beach.
Schuby-Dörphof is perfect for getting to know Northern Germany in all its beauty. The town of Damp with the largest sailing port and large beach is only 20 minutes from Schuby Beach. In Damp you will find a marina, an adventure swimming pool and a few shops, fish sandwich stalls, snack bars and two restaurants. The most famous fishing village of the Schlei, however, Arnis, will delight you as a highlight and make your vacation unforgettable. Arnis is famous as the smallest town in Germany and could hardly be more idyllic in the natural paradise of the Schlei. You can also go on many sporting tours on the Schwansen peninsula, but you can also find relaxing places. The Schwansen peninsula is considered by many to be an extraordinary natural and bird paradise. According to surveys, the Schlei area, i.e. the area around Kappeln and Eckernförde and thus including the lake region of Holstein Switzerland, offers an extremely high recreational value. You can get away from the hustle and bustle and avoid crowds of people you might otherwise encounter on vacation. The location of the holiday home is quiet and you can let the dog run directly from the house. You can take excursions to Schönhagen, Maasholm, Eckernförde, Damp, Kappeln or Flensburg. Go on a recreational steamboat excursion or go on an adventure in a fishing boat. There are leisure activities for all ages. It is 2 km from a fabulous sandy beach, a dog beach, a water sports center, restaurants and an excellent playground. A small playground is about 50m from the house. Fishing is possible in the area and there is a water sports center and a sailing port. There is a large adventure playground.
