Positive: Haus Raimund was a highlight of our month-long trip around Europe. It was a spacious well-equipped apartment with a private balcony with stunning views over the valley. Alpbach is a picture-perfect Austrian alpine village with a good choice of restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket. The walking from the village is easy and varied with well signposted paths. There is a regular bus service along the valley (free to all visitors with the complimentary Alpbach card) and several ski lifts available. All this a short train journey from Innsbruck. Michaela, our host was extremely helpful (she even posted on the sunglasses that I left behind) and speaks excellent English. Haus Raimund is special and highly recommended.
