Summary: The description is accurate but the house needs maintenance. One of the bedrooms had sections along the walls that were crumbling and peeling from water damage leaving the room unusable and smelling of mildew. The walls throughout the house were very dirty and had visible dirty handprints, some looked liked dried blood. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and had hair and dirt in the showers. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom provided. The towels were very old and many were very frayed/torn. The sheets had hair on them when we turned down the bed on the first night so we slept on top of the covers. The floors were extremely dirty and our feet turned black just walking up the stairs. I called the company the next morning, since we arrived in the evening. They sent housekeeping, who seemed visibly annoyed. She cleaned the bathrooms and floors of the entire house only after explaining that even when they clean sometimes there's hair leftover. However, after she mopped the house floors, our feet were clean for the rest of our stay. She smelled the sheets after I showed her the hair on the sheets, said they were clean and refused to change the linens. We ended up borrowing sheets from my family that lives in Mazatlan and putting them on top of the bedding. We also borrowed towels, handtowels, and washcloths because the last 2 items were not provided. On Christmas eve morning, I went to put the turkey in the oven only to find that it did not work, only the burners. Lastly, the water pump, that is located on the outside wall of the master bedroom, gradually started to make a loud banging noise that ended up sounding like a someone was hammering on the outside anytime we ran water anywhere in the house; to the point, that we stopped running any water after 11 pm because the noise would wake up everyone. We messaged the company again and they sent someone who said the hydraulic system needed repair and that he fixed it for now and would put in for a replacement. The noise stopped for a few hours but by nighttime had returned. I messaged the company my disappointment and they responded that the noise was common for pumps, which is not true because none of the neighbors' pumps made that noise, nor did any of my relatives houses. Cease to say, I barely slept, ended up exhausted and sick. The house has the potential to be really amazing, the management company is responsive, but maintenance leaves too much to be desired.
