Large, secluded property with huge manicured grass areas for everyone to enjoy. There is another small yurt close by and dry camping at the back of property. We are a family of 2 (with 2 little doggys) and love to have guests. Enjoy the space and mingle with your neighbours if any.
The space
The Robin's Nest is very spacious. The tall ceiling and four windows make the space light and roomy. The two queen beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding is of very high quality. Why just camp when you can Glamp!
Your space includes a fully supplied kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee make, toaster oven and hot & cold water dispenser. Dinning table with 4 stools. Couch and two chairs for relaxing. Ceiling and floor fan. Lots of inside board games for fun!!
Outside: There is a BBQ and a small burner stove and utensils on a covered stand. The deck has two comfy lawn chairs which can be moved around your space. Patio table with 4 chairs & cushions. Patio propane fire pit to light the mood.
The shared bathroom and shower house is located just out the back door. All areas are well lit with LED and motion sensor lights.
This is a beautiful area in Mabel Lake. It’s a 2 minute walk to the Shuswap river and a five minute walk to the lake. There are many beaches and areas to explore. The area is most know for boating, fishing, floating down the river (only in safer water), white water rafting, and the 9 hole golf course is only 5 min. away. The property is large and away from the busy summer community but close enough to all the action.
Guest access
You can enjoy the large upper half of the property we just ask our guests to not go on the lower rocky, non grassed area. The cabin, RV’s, tents, small Yurt including the deck and chairs are private.
Other things to note
There is no cell phone service and no real stores in the area. There is one small convenient store with small selection of food and drinks - sells ice, liquor and essentials. There is no gas station but there is boat gas. Buy your food in Enderby or before. Bring coolers if you have more than the bar fridge can fit. You should bring your own propane tanks for BBQ and fire pit. We will provide propane tanks (with a charge).
The Fawn is a romantic, very unique guest accommodation. As you lay in bed you can see the stars through the glass roof dome. Queen platform bed with drawers and a single suitcase stand to help you stay organized. Luxury bedding and towels . A small assortment of kitchen items and a Keurig coffee station. Floor fan works well; cools the space down quickly. Small patio with lawn chairs. Patio table set and BBQ supplied.
The space
Located at the end of a private lane we are a quiet oasis - yet connected via golf cart path to the Community Hall, tennis & pickel ball court and playground. We overlook Mabel Lake Blueberry Farm which offers the Very Berry Cafe, fresh veggies - famous for their blueberries, hascaps and raspberries (in season).
We are only a 5 min walk to the Mabel Lake public beach and boat launch. 10 - 15 min walk to the 9 hole golf course.

The shared Shower House has a shower room and a seperate toliet room. Large grassed area for picnics; games and star gazing.
