Glacier Getaway is exactly that! Located just 200 yards outside of Glacier National Park, a few minutes from the West Entrance, and with the 18th green of the Glacier View golf course right in the back yard, this property is the perfect home base for all of your Montana adventures. Within five minutes you could be hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, white water rafting, horseback riding, or playing a full round of golf. The home is also just 25 miles from the town of Whitefish.
If you're visiting during the Winter months, keep in mind that the snow here can fall fast, so we recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles, although they're not completely necessary. We have a contract with a local plow company, but in case you need to leave before they arrive around mid morning, there are snow shovels for the driveway.
There is now wi-fi , but cellular service is sometimes spotty. The Wi-Fi within the house, while there, should not be relied upon if you plan on conducting work-related or other high functioning activities while on the internet. We apologize for the inconvenience, as this was the only provider in the area for internet.

Glacier Getaway is located in the village of West Glacier. It is approximately 30 minutes North of Glacier International Airport, 20 minutes North of Columbia Falls, 35 minutes North of Kalispell. The home is located just a five min walk from the Golf Course clubhouse, where you could enjoy dinner or a drink, which means that you can have your day time adventures in Glacier Park and a great place to relax and rejuvenate at the end of the day!
The homefeatures 2 bedrooms (one on the main floor and one on the lower floor, which can sleep a total of 6), 2 living areas, a dining area, a fully equippedkitchen, wifi , a washer/dryer with detergent, a gas grill, and plenty of outdoor seating, and an outdoor hot tub running year round. Glacier View golf course is right in our back yard, literally, allowing easy access without ever needing to hop in a car.
The home is also just around the corner from the West Glacier river access, which includes a boat launch and a picnic area. Just 200 yards from Glacier as the crow flies, and only a few minutes from the West Glacier entrance, making it easy to walk, bike, or drive into the park at any time.
Unfortunately due to the location of our home and the relatively small population size of the area, there are no reliable public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber may be possible depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
