Winter in the Central Rockies - low humidity and big sunny days, we get @330 days of sun per year! The "Blue Hole" over Salida makes the high desert very pleasant in the valley.
Salida is a high desert @7,000' elevation surrounded by 10,000' to 14,000 foot peeks...just 20 minutes away.
