The Space:
With beach-friendly ash-blond flooring throughout, the apartment’s open-plan living/dining/kitchen space features absolutely stunning views of Freshwater beach. There’s a comfy L-shaped lounge suite, an occasional chair, a Hisense wall-mounted smart TV, a dining table for 6 people and plantation shutters. The kitchen comes with stone bench tops, including an island with loads of space for food prep, a family-sized fridge/freezer, a Dishlex dishwasher, 4-burner induction cooktop, under-bench electric oven and a microwave. Glass sliding doors take you out on to a balcony with a spectacular 180 degree view of the beach in one direction and Freshwater in the other. Outdoor chairs are there for you to enjoy your morning coffee.
There are 2 bedrooms, both carpeted and providing beds made up of 2 king singles which can be separated or pushed together depending on your preference. The bedrooms also have built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans and plantation shutters to help block out the light for sleep-ins. The bathroom/laundry has a large shower recess, washing machine and a clothes rack, with a communal washing line available too. The toilet itself is in a separate room.
The apartment comes with a secure garage with remote control access.
The Neighborhood:
Located 16 kilometres north-east of the Sydney CBD (Downtown), Queenscliff is part of the Northern Beaches district, a series of suburbs along the coast known for their relaxed lifestyle. The actual apartment is in an ideal location, just 3 minutes stroll from Freshwater beach and 12 minutes on foot from Manly beach, including all the shops, eateries and bars on offer there. But you don’t have to walk that far for food and drink – the Harboard Hotel is 7 minutes’ walk away, offering tasty pub meals and a cold bevy. There’s an IGA supermarket less than 10 minutes on foot. For more choice, the Warringah Mall Westfield is a 6 minute drive away.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with secure garage parking but if you prefer public transport, there’s a bus stop just a minute’s walk away that services the area.
Other Things to Note:
* Due to strict noise policies in strata buildings and Australian council by-laws, guests must avoid making loud noise, particularly between the hours of 10 pm – 8 am. Please understand that guests who break this rule may be evicted and financial penalties may also apply, depending on thecircumstances.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount.
