Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for clothes etc. We really liked the balcony on 2 sides, the blinds on the windows. It is just a 2 minute walk to the lake and 5 minutes to the bus stops. Parking place by the entrance door. We were very pleased with the visitor passes allowing free travel by bus and train and 20% off boat trips and made good use of these. Our stay was excellent and included my partner's aunt who lives in the village so it was a lovely change for her, a holiday without travelling.

Negative: I saw a review which mentioned having to close the kitchen door to open the fridge which is true but not a major problem. Unfortunately we could not see any information about the apartment; there was a folder but the information was about the area. This may be an English issue but having glass doors on the bathroom and toilet seems odd. The toilet door is opaque but the bathroom door has some clear glass and the shower is visible through it. It was OK for us but I would not want to stay there with friends. There was an issue with the hot water for 2 days but we think this affected the residents below too as we saw a van outside and the problem was fixed.

Summary: A very comfortable stay, great location for us and we plan to return.
