This 4800 sq. ft property is well maintained and is the perfect solution for a trip to Dallas. It is professionally cleaned using the most current cleaning guidelines.
The Grand ENTRANCE is tiled with a bronze tile an exquisite chandelier and large double doors. There is an extremely large LIVING ROOM (22x35) or great room, where there is ample room for gatherings of no more than 24. There are 2 large sofas, 2 coffee tables and more sitting with 3 cozy arm chairs and a few side chairs. It has a gas fireplace.
The formal DINNING ROOM is 14x16 and has a large table with one leaf added plus an additional leaf. There are 10 chairs matching the dining table and an additional 2 chairs, a small glass oval table and a server. Moving to the large KITCHEN area which is 20x12. This beautiful bright kitchen which houses a large Samsung refrigerator a Viking Professional Convection oven, a Viking Professional microwave and a Bosch dish washer. The kitchen is stocked with many cooking gadgets (everything from a Watermelon cutter to a popcorn maker) and small appliances (can opener, toaster, crock-pot, tea maker, juicer, etc). There is a coffee pot serving 12 cups or a large coffee pot that makes 20-30 cups and a Nessresso single serve expresso maker. I like to stock a few additional items in the frig and or pantry. Feel free to use whatever is here. It is for your convenience. The Breakfast Area is 12x13 and has a large glass table with 6 chairs and a TV and radio. The separate UTILITY ROOM sits just off the kitchen nook. The Utility room is large with Whirlpool Washer/Dryer plus an extra full size refrigerator. The DEN (game room) is 23x20 and contains a wet bar. It has a fireplace, large TV, card table, 4 bar stools and a theater type sofa with coffee table. This homes sleeps 12 in the beds and 2 children (1 youth bed and 1 portable crib). This 4.5 bedroom home has 4 king size beds and 2 sets of bunk-beds (twin top & bottom) 1 full bunk with trundle (Full top & bottom plus twin pull out trundle), a trundle bed and a futon. That is comfortable bedding for 8 persons in the king beds, 2 persons in the trundle 9 persons in the bunk beds(the full bunk has a twin trundle mattress) and 2 children in the youth and portacrib. Additional bedding can be added if needed. There are 4 vanity areas in 3 bathrooms. 3 full baths (2 with showers and 2 tubs) The MASTER BEDROOM (Bedroom #1) is 31x16 and has 2 King beds plus it includes a small side bedroom (has the trundle) that can be used as a nursery. The master bathroom has a huge sunken tub as well as a separate shower. The toilet is off to the side with a door. There are two huge walk in closets, plus 2 sets of linen cabinets. The two additional bedrooms 14x16 and 14x17 have walk in closets, separate vanities and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a large tub (no shower). The bedroom is 14x17 also has a set of bunk-beds in it. The front bedroom 15x12 has a set of bunk-beds (Full) and a bathroom with a tub and shower combo. This bathroom is also the guest bathroom and is in the hallway between the kitchen and den.
This is a unique home that you'll be delighted with on your trip to Dallas. It is close to White Rock Lake, Lakewood Country Club, The Santa Fe Trial, Tennyson Memorial Park, Tietze Park, The Arboretum and Lakewood Shopping Center with local shops, restaurants and bars.
The property sits on 3/4 of an acre of land. It has a beautiful double wide circular drive in the front of the house that can accommodate approximately 10 cars. The driveway to the back is gated with a double wide drive. 8 cars can park in the large gated and paved back driveway area. It has an electric gate with code. Discounts for weekly or monthly rentals. There is a 16 person maximum allowed if owner allows. For overnight guests the maximum is 15.
