The Blue house provides a combination of the modern and old world, from the master bedroom with en-suite and spa, and with sunrise views over the Pacific Ocean, to the private “Royal” bedroom with chandelier and expansive walk-in wardrobe, the “Farm” room with photos of the owner's horses and cattle adorning the walls, and then downstairs to the piano room, further bedrooms, and relaxing large imported Italian leather couches for quiet reading and contemplation.
With its own Billabong and the morning sun across the sand dunes, the secluded and expansive beach is a five-minute walk from the house. Whales with baby calves during migration season, and pods of dolphins, are regularly seen close by. The eco-protected Flat Top island is accessible at low tide and provides a magical experience for all ages.
You share the house grounds and acres with 40 or more kangaroos, many with joeys, and a couple of hares if you can spot their bobbing tails racing through the bush. Welcome to the Blue House at Gwandalan Grounds.
Whilst private and relatively secluded, you are only a 5-minute drive to the wonderful small village of Woolgoolga, filled with a variety of cafes and small Italian, Indian, Greek, and Australian modern restaurants, and some of the best fish and chips you will ever taste! The Sunset Lounge and Anchor Bar/Restaurants provide a mix of sophistication and relaxed seaside experiences. Many of the local cafes and restaurants deliver to your door.
The larger town of Coffs Harbour with its shopping centres, restaurants and bars is only 15 minutes drive away….but why would you leave the house?
