LOCATION-LOCATION-LOCATION!! LIBERTY PARK – FAMILY FRIENDLY-HOT TUB-GAMES-PRIVACY-SUPER CLEAN - Our 100-year-old restored bungalow is just a few steps away from Liberty Park, Tracy Aviary, and several restaurants that are scattered around the park. Whether traveling for work, leisure, or adventure we have thought of everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Salt Lake City. You will have the entire house (upstairs and downstairs) to yourself along with the privacy of the fully fenced yard and hot tub.
The space
Our family friendly house is on a quiet tree-lined street that is primarily single families. The home has been perfectly updated while maintaining its 100-year-old charm, including the original clawfoot bathtub and some of the original doors with skeleton keys. For additional outdoor living space simply open the French doors to a large two-level deck and patio where you can continue to relax and play. We hope many fun memories are made during your stay as you enjoy board games, outdoor yard games, 6-person hot tub, the fire pit, BBQ, Nintendo Wii, and the foosball table. Enjoy a morning coffee on the front patio, BBQ and smores in the backyard, or snuggle up inside and watch a movie on one of the three smart TV’s. This home has three bedrooms and one bath; maximum of six guests.
Book our home and you'll have the added bonus of a complimentary breakfast, as waffle and oatmeal supplies are provided in the fully stocked kitchen. For your convenience, the kitchen also has a Keurig coffee maker, French press, Instapot, toaster, blender, and more to make it feel like home. Gather together for meals at the six-person table, with three additional seats at the kitchen counter.
Guests who stay for FIVE or more consecutive nights will also get a complimentary welcome basket filled with additional snacks from local companies.
UPSTAIRS - The upstairs has an open layout that makes it easy for guests to visit and entertain. The ONE bathroom is upstairs and has a deep clawfoot bathtub that was just beautifully refinished and is perfect for relaxing after a day of playing and/or working. The clawfoot tub also has a rain shower head and adjustable handheld sprayer. There is a desk in the main living area and G**gle Fiber (1GB) for those who need to do some extra work while on vacation.
Bedroom 1 – Queen bed, blackout curtains, closet, and storage.
Bedroom 2 – Bunk bed with twin over full, vaulted ceiling, blackout curtains, closet, and storage.
DOWNSTAIRS – We have created extra spaces for you and your guests to play and make memories. There is a foosball table in one room and a bonus area for kids to play that is filled with toys, books, smart TV and a Nintendo Wii console with games. There is also a separate laundry room with laundry detergent, an ironing board, and iron. Please note that the basement has a ceiling height of 74 inches (so if you are over 6’2” tall you’ll want to claim one of the upstairs bedrooms).
Bedroom 3 – Full bed, smart tv, blackout blinds, closet, and storage.
The home is just a half block away from Liberty Park and Tracy Aviary. You are only a few blocks away from Smith’s Ballpark, the Maven District, and 9th and 9th where you have access to coffee, bars, restaurants, entertainment, a cat cafe, breweries, and much more.
A short 5 min drive can get you to downtown Salt Lake City, Westminster, The University of Utah, Cinemas, Eccles Theater, Salt Palace, Hogle Zoo, Vivint Smart Home Arena, and LDS Conference Center. In about 30 minutes you can drive to Park City and the Canyons. In the same amount of time you can also enjoy access to the other 6 world-class ski resorts, hiking, lakes, golf courses, and mountain biking trails.
HOT TUB! We have a brand new 6 person hot tub that was just installed in the backyard. The new 31-jet spa, with overflow drain, LED lights, and lounge chair for 6 persons is the perfect place for your family/friends to relax after a day of exploring or skiing.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
There is a long narrow driveway on the east/left side of the house that can fit 2-3 cars. Please pull forward enough that you do not block the sidewalk. Additional parking is available on the street.
Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered! Just let us know when you book if you would like to use a pack n play, highchair, potty seat, or stroller and we will make sure to put your requested items out before you arrive.
Although this is a family friendly home it is NOT babyproof. Please keep a close eye on your little ones both for their safety and to prevent any damage to the home.
Guest Access -
Guests will have their own individual code for keyless entry that auto locks. Security cameras are located on the front and back doors.
Guests will have complete privacy and use of the entire home and fully fenced yard. The garage on the back of the property is for owner and maintenance supplies only and is not included in the booking (however please let us know if you are traveling with bikes that might need to be stored in the garage).
