Positive: Alejandro and Marcela were so kind. The setting is beautiful and peaceful with lots of birds. Waking up every morning to birds and a nature view was breathtaking. The 'outdoor' bathroom with rain shower was amazing. It is hard to believe that 10 years ago it was pasture! They have done an amazing job restoring the landscape.
Negative: Like any ecohotel with beautiful nature, be prepared for insects. Also, if you stay in the Deluxe suite then bring sandals to wear in the bathroom as the floor is mainly gravel/small stones.
