Fringed by pandanus and frangipani trees, you’re seconds from one of the country's most coveted stretches of beach. And what this 5-bedroom dwelling does, is beautifully meld the ideologies of Japanese slow living and simplicity with Scandinavian comfort and well-being. This demeanour is seen throughout with golden wood finishes and neutral tones, with full expressions of white kept to a minimum.
A recreation room cum pavilion-style pool house dominates the middle level and enables all guests to socialise around the deck and terrace-style steps down to the flickering stone-built pool. There are a multitude of ways to enjoy this space, from morning coffees with a book, afternoons spent frolicking poolside, to catching golden hour with a glass of your favourite wine in hand. This unique area ties the home together and speaks to the enviable subtropical climate.
This residence has a central kitchen/living/dining/ room that completely redefines the open plan concept. From this upper level, there are unadulterated views across the beach and nearby Elephant Rock, with multiple zones to break away, relax, eat, share a movie, or cook up your next meal. An overly generous lounge is the perfect place to wind down after an afternoon on the beach or exploring the nearby hinterland — and a fully equipped, capacious kitchen, butler’s pantry, and bar top create endless opportunities for you to dine in should you want to.
On the middle level, a bedroom suite houses two double rooms, two bunk-style rooms and two modern, tiled bathrooms. It is completely symmetrical and is designed to host 12 people with ease.
The main bedroom is a love letter to coastal living hinged on unspoilt ocean panoramas – giving you a front-row seat to the sunrise each day — and Balinese-style outdoor shower. Behind the scenes, a vast-sized walk-in robe with separate vanity desks and sofa stresses comfort whilst looking your best has never been easier.
Linen (including sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats and tea towels) is included with your stay - we even triple-sheet the beds! Also included are basic amenities (hand/body wash, dish soap, laundry liquid, cleaning spray). A basic starter pack with bin liners, dishwasher tabs, cloth wipes and toilet paper is supplied but longer stays may need to top up these items. We just recommend you bring any personal toiletries.
In accordance with Gold Coast City Council this property has a strict No party and No Commercial Functions policy.As it is located in a quiet residential suburb. In consideration to our neighbours, we request guests keep noise to a minimum outside and observe the residential area "Quiet time" from 10pm to 8 am.
