The very friendly, bright and quiet apartment (about 40 square meters) can accommodate up to three persons (one bedroom with double bed, sofa bed in lounge, a cot is available). A special highlight is the large balcony that is accessible from both the living room and bedroom. The kitchenette (fridge, stove and microwave) allows self-sufficiency. The apartment is equipped with a TV and a CD player. The bright daylight has a bath with shower attachment. The garden can be shared. In the basement there is a washer and dryer, which can be used at a low price. The apartment is very quiet.

Summary: Fabulous area, good access to other towns villages and Berchtesgaden is a lovely Bavarian town. We found it a little bit difficult to find the apartment as we arrived at midnight and the VRBO map on our booking didn’t take us to the street/apartment just to the town of Shonau am Königssee. I recommend the map details the apartment block. Good communication with owner leading up to arrival date. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great holiday.
