Positive: A clean, quiet, cosy, characterful cottage in a woodland location off the beaten track. The noise of the stream directly in front of the cottage is delightful. There is walking direct from the cottage and a leaflet details other walks in the area. The wood burner with a well stocked woodshed was very welcome in March!

Negative: A bit difficult to find in the dark.

Summary: Great option for a visit to the Southern Lakes
