Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Some of our favorite things about our stay was the breakfast, the location, and the view. We had walkable access to several nearby restaurants along with the port. About a five minute walk to a nearby bus stop which we used heavily throughout our visit. The view from our balcony was beautiful and the room was spacious. The hosts made beach towels available for us to borrow which was a nice touch.
Negative: When we arrived the windows to the room were open which likely contributed to the main issue we experienced, bugs. Spiders in the corners and on the ceilings and mosquitos. After we arrived, we sealed up everything and that helped with the mosquitos, but it was frustrating having to kill spiders in the shower and next to our bed. We stayed for three nights and the hosts did come in and tidy the room/make the bed after the first night, but from what we could tell they never returned after that point. By the end of the stay our single trash can was overflowing and we had completely run out of toilet paper and tissues. It seems like the room just needs to be thoroughly cleaned prior to the guests arrival and better maintained during the stay.
