Positive: I was a little nervous after reading some of the bad reviews, and although I can definitely see where those people were coming from, I think perhaps because we went just after the summer holidays, these problems were reduced by less people staying there. Yes its a bit noisy with doors in corridors etc but its kind of the nature of the beast. Its a big concrete box full of hard surfaces. Maybe investing in some soft wall panels and insulation for the doors would really help to reduce it. For us it was barely an issue, but I can see how light sleepers may struggle, especially in peak season. The staff were great. The room was basic but clean. Shower had good flow which is nice. The roof terrace is very nice. Pool is small but perfectly fine. The downstairs one is sadly in the shade for most of the day but that's not their fault. Its clean and fine otherwise. Location is great. Very close to the beach. The sea view from the room was very nice.
Negative: Definitely need to consider adding fridges to the rooms. It was a bit of a struggle without one on a 5 night stay. Bedding was a bit basic but comfy enough. I know its spain and its hot but sleeping with only a sheet isnt the best for some. Some need something weighty for comfort. There were blankets in the cupboard but very old. We managed fine though. Just constructive criticism. Price is definitely too high compared to better higher rated hotels in the area.
Summary: Pleasant Off-Season Stay - Can't vouch for peak season!
