Based in the Hautes Alpes and passionate about our mountains, we rent 10 chalets in Vars and Montgenèvre that can accommodate 12 to 24 people. In this listing, we present our 140 m² Chalet B for 12 people, facing west and overlooking the ski slopes. This charming chalet, made of stone and wood, combines a modern style with large windows and a traditional style with aged local wood.
Open all year round, we rent this chalet for weekends or weekly stays. Weekly stays are available from late December to late March, and from early July to late August.
We are a small and dedicated team, always available to assist our guests and ensure the best possible experience during your stay. We can connect you with service providers for meals or certified instructors for various sports activities, whether the resort is open or closed. Additionally, we can arrange yoga sessions or sessions with osteopaths at the chalet for relaxation and wellness.
The chalet features 4 bedrooms and 4 fully equipped bathrooms. At the entrance of the chalet, there is a storage area for removing shoes and storing skis and boots. The living room opens into the dining area and kitchen and includes a wood-burning stove and a foosball table, creating a cozy atmosphere for enjoying hot chocolate by the fire and spending quality time together. The kitchen opens onto a southwest-facing terrace where you can have outdoor meals.
On the ground floor, there is a second terrace facing southwest with a private outdoor Jacuzzi, heated year-round to 37°C, where you can relax during your vacation, along with sun loungers. Don't forget the cinema room with a wide selection of DVDs for enjoyable movie nights together!
The chalet is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi, 5 flat-screen TVs, multiple HIFI and radio systems, a dishwasher, a washing machine and dryer, a US refrigerator with a freezer, baby equipment, a charcoal BBQ, and more.
You will find a warm atmosphere combined with maximum comfort for a dream vacation!

A free shuttle passes 100 meters from the chalet during the summer and winter seasons when the resort is open, taking you to the ski slopes in just 5 minutes.

Embark on family bike rides with electric mountain bikes or explore the thrilling downhill mountain bike tracks equipped with jumps and turns throughout the domain. Don't miss the exhilarating 32 km downhill mountain bike trail connecting Vars to Embrun, the longest in Europe. Road cyclists can indulge in the numerous accessible mountain passes that make Vars an ideal destination.
Vars, situated at the convergence of the Ecrins, Queyras, and Ubaye valleys, is a central starting point for countless hiking adventures in the Southern Alps. Explore the diverse forms of mountain water, from serene lakes for swimming or paddle boating, to picturesque waterfalls encountered during invigorating hikes leading to high-altitude lakes. Thrill-seekers can enjoy rafting and inflatable canoeing along the lively Durance River. Serre Ponçon Lake offers pristine beaches for relaxation and water activities such as wakeboarding, boating, or kitesurfing.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY CHALETS HOSSZU:
Daily delivery of fresh bread and pastries (during summer and winter when the bakery is open).
Possibility of meal delivery (half-board with caterer or private chef throughout the year).
End-of-stay cleaning included and possibility of daily cleaning as an option.
Linens included in the price during the Christmas and February school holidays, optional for the rest of the year.
Connection with certified instructors who can accompany you in all your sports activities throughout the year, whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete (ski touring, downhill skiing, mountaineering, climbing, fat biking, etc.).
A small and dedicated team, always available to assist our guests before and during their stay.
During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented from Saturday to Saturday, with the possibility of weekend rentals depending on the period. We accept dogs but cannot accommodate cats.
We also rent 5 other chalets for 14 to 24 people in Vars and 4 chalets for 16 to 22 people in the Montgenèvre resort. Feel free to ask for more information about your group!
