I rent my charming and large apartment, on the 1st floor of a building at the end of the 19th century, located in the heart of Marseille, 7 minutes walk from the station and 15 minutes from the Old Port.
It has the charm of the old with tiled floors and moldings on the ceiling and offers beautiful volumes
Facing North / South, crossing, therefore perfectly bright with a nice little green terrace, where you can take your meals.
It has 2 bedrooms with double bed, (a large one of about 20m2 and a small one)
, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet
, a large living room on the south side
and a kitchen opening onto the terrace.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a 4-burner city gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave and all the necessary kitchen utensils including an electric robot, a hand blender, a toaster and electric coffee maker.
The apartment has double glazed windows in each room
Household linen is provided (sheets, tea towels, hand towels)
This rental is atypical in the sense that the apartment is being renovated (some parts are still in their "juice"!), and rented as such with consequently a reduced rental price.
Another of its characteristics is that I usually exercise my artistic activity there but the occupation of the space is designed to be reversible and thus offer you the best welcome. (A storage space is provided for the storage of my equipment) And as if by magic, my workshop is transformed into a very warm and bright living room.
The apartment is located in a lively and lively area and is ideally located for walking around the city, whether for cultural visits, (La Friche, le Mucem, the historic Panier district and the Vieille Charité, the new Joliette district, the Frac and the brand new tower of Jean Nouvel, ... but also to immerse yourself in Marseille life with its typical oriental markets, its ancestral shops, essential such as the Emperor and Le Père Blaise!, or to get closer to the sea and swimming (boat shuttles leaving from the Old Port take you to the Frioul Islands, to Estaque or to the other end of the city; La Pointe Rouge).
Buses can also leave you all along the ledge, at the various beaches or rocks.
I would therefore advise against the car if you have to spend a week in Marseille.
