Positive: From the initial welcome to the breakfasts and treats along the way, combined with the incredible views, our stay at Champaca was fantastic. Chandra and the team were the most hospitable hosts you could want. They helped with anything you needed, delivered fantastic Indonesian breakfasts in the morning (and pancakes for the kids), organised transport, and delivered wonderful afternoon teas whilst we lounged by the pool. The property was great, clean and plenty of space both inside, on the terrace and by the pool overlooking the incredible views of the rice fields. Location is good, 15 minutes or so walk to the town centre. We tended to take Taxis to most places as the roads did not have footpaths, however they are very cheap via Grab or Gojek (although be aware traffic in Ubud is pretty congested). Overall we had a fantastic time at Champaca and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
